Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and AI
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA research grants
- Collaborate with Intel's Quantum Hardware Division on qubit stabilization
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Chemistry, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and NISQ-era algorithms
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit architectures
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Experience leading quantum computing research teams
