Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate quantum decoherence challenges
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with quantum simulation tools (Qiskit Aer, IBM Q Experience)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
