Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and system scalability using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into cloud computing platforms
- Develop and maintain quantum simulation frameworks for algorithm testing and validation
- Publish peer-reviewed research in leading scientific journals and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research funding through competitive grant applications and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum-focused field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing
