Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in 2026-era computing
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams on quantum principles
- Develop intellectual property strategies through patent filings and trade secrets
- Partner with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
