Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Lead research initiatives to address scalability challenges in quantum systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum innovations
- Partner with industry partners to identify and solve real-world quantum computing problems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of published research in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in high-performance computing and parallel programming paradigms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems preferred
