Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols on superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature and IEEE journals
- Secure patents for quantum-resistant encryption methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and tensor network simulations
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and statistical mechanics
