Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing protocols using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures optimized for specific algorithms
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor a team of PhD researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, QAOA, VQE, and variational algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Published record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental results
