Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Develop error-corrected quantum systems with 100+ qubit coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in quantum computing research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM, and MIT on quantum-secure communications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in machine learning for quantum data analysis
- Strong background in cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Ability to secure federal research funding (NSF/DOE)
