Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms with 99.9% fidelity for complex optimization problems
- Lead qubit stabilization research using topological quantum computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning models
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Commercialize quantum encryption solutions for enterprise clients
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Published research in quantum error correction or topology
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- Experience securing federal research grants
- Patent portfolio in quantum computing (preferred)
- Clearance for DoD projects (if applicable)
