Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments with 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with cryptography teams to design quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at IEEE/ACM conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Ability to secure DoD/NASA research clearances preferred
