Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Optimize qubit stability in cryogenic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics principles
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Partner with industry leaders to solve real-world problems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (required)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Clear communication of complex quantum concepts to diverse audiences
