Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and qubit stability improvements
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers and patent quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM, and academic partners on quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of translating theory to practical applications
