Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum processors with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals with quarterly patent submissions
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation with AI and biotech divisions
- Develop quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Published papers in top-tier quantum computing journals or conference proceedings
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and complex systems theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in high-performance computing environments
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical quantum applications
