Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Conduct theoretical and experimental research on quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum software compatible with next-generation processors
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and materials science divisions
- Publish research in IEEE Quantum Journal and Nature Quantum Information
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience with frameworks like Qiskit or Cirq
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation tools
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
