Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into scalable quantum systems
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging hardware architectures
- Secure and manage quantum computing resources including cryogenic systems and laser calibration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and experimental validation
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Ability to secure research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
