Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design and execute experiments on quantum processors
- Collaborate with engineers to prototype quantum software solutions
- Lead research publications and patent applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Present findings at industry conferences and academic symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Ability to secure DoD/NSF clearances preferred
