Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures and error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional projects with physics, engineering, and AI teams
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE QCE
- Secure government grants (DARPA, NSF) and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and patent quantum computing innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, CS, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design on IBM/Qiskit or Google/Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Published work in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
