Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop proprietary error-correction techniques to enhance qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate quantum research into commercial applications
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Secure research grants and patents for quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development (e.g., Shor's, Grover's implementations)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic systems)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
- Preferred: Background in cryptography or machine learning
