Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error correction research
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks using Qiskit and Cirq
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
- Drive quantum cloud architecture partnerships with AWS and Azure
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and Shor's algorithm implementation
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design using Q# or PennyLane
- Demonstrated success securing government research funding
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor interfaces
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
