Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit stability in scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum systems with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives focused on achieving quantum advantage by 2026
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams on quantum principles
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectural innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum hardware architecture and cryogenic system integration
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
