Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum simulation projects
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DARPA grants
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum mechanics principles
- Contribute to open-source quantum SDK development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years quantum computing research (IBM Q/Google Quantum AI)
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum circuit design
- Published papers in quantum information theory
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
