Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and photonic networks
- Design error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and practical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
