Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for commercial deployment by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum algorithm development
- Design error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to implement quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and medicine
- Pioneer quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Secure $15M+ in government and private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum entanglement or decoherence
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of commercializing quantum technologies
- Experience securing NSF/NIH/DARPA research grants
- Certification in Quantum Cryptography (QCIA preferred)
- Fluency in quantum error correction codes (surface, topological)
