Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum algorithm development
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF quantum initiatives
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and cloud providers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with budgets exceeding $2M
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC) and quantum simulation tools
- Strong background in quantum machine learning and quantum cryptography applications
