Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures capable of solving previously unsolvable computational problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Prototype quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Secure $10M+ in quantum computing patents and publish in Nature Physics
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum transition strategies
- Establish industry standards for quantum security frameworks
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building quantum hardware/software systems
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum annealing, superconducting qubits, or photonic computing
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Experience securing DARPA/NSF quantum research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
