Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for 2026-era applications in cryptography and materials science
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical supercomputing infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen financial and healthcare systems
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum communication networks
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum machine learning implementations
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and quantum error correction codes
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing architectures
- Ability to translate theoretical models into practical hardware implementations
- Security clearance eligibility preferred for government projects
