Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Design error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Drive R&D in topological qubits and photonic quantum networks
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing or superconducting systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum technologies
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in low-level hardware-software co-design
- Track record of scaling quantum systems from prototype to production
