Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead development of quantum-resistant encryption protocols for enterprise clients
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for AI model training
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and error correction
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through our 'Quantum Leap' training program
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on IBM Quantum Experience or Rigetti
- Published research in Nature Physics or Physical Review X
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum machine learning frameworks
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or color codes)
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols (AES, RSA, ECC)
- Contributor to open-source quantum projects like Q# or PennyLane
