Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 99.9% fidelity
- Lead development of quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Design error correction models for 1000+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Drive quantum algorithm optimization for real-world applications
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and government agencies
- Mentor quantum engineers in hybrid classical-quantum workflows
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or system architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM Rigetti)
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
