Responsibilities
- Architect quantum error correction systems for fault-tolerant computing
- Design hybrid quantum-classical neural networks for 2026-era AI
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum simulation projects
- Optimize qubit coherence times using advanced cooling systems
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into production-ready implementations
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or photonic processors
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects (or ability to obtain)
