Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms optimized for real-world problem-solving
- Integrate quantum systems with classical computing infrastructure and AI frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Conduct research on quantum machine learning applications for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Document quantum system architectures and publish breakthrough research findings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum machine learning
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems modeling
