Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment milestones
- Develop error mitigation strategies achieving 99.9% qubit coherence
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm implementations
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic system integration
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week 2026
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Published research in Nature/Science journals (post-2020)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic control systems (mK temperatures)
- Track record of securing DOE/NIST quantum grants
