As a Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design scalable quantum systems that solve previously impossible computational challenges. Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Research and implement quantum error correction techniques at scale
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor integration
- Create quantum security protocols for next-gen communication systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and strategic partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing complex computational architectures
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and mitigation strategies
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in high-stakes projects
- Certification in quantum system architecture (preferred)
