Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Lead quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with materials science team on superconducting qubit fabrication
- Define quantum security frameworks post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning integration
- Present roadmaps to investors and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D grants from NSF/DOE
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
