Responsibilities
- Architect quantum circuits and algorithms for commercial applications
- Design error-corrected qubit systems with 99.9% fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead quantum security protocol implementations
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum space exploration projects
- Optimize quantum resource allocation for cloud platforms
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
