Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial systems
- Lead integration of quantum hardware with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Establish quantum error correction frameworks for industrial deployment
- Drive research on topological qubit stabilization techniques
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topology
- Expertise in cryogenic quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, QASM)
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
