Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, AI optimization, and molecular modeling
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing adoption across industries
- Present breakthrough research at international conferences and publish in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit design
- Proven track record of developing production quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for executive stakeholders
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contracts
