Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms solving complex optimization problems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (superconducting, photonic, topological)
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybridize quantum-classical workflows
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Present technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum simulators and cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D grants for quantum initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
