Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm development for machine learning and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum-classical interfaces
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, ion-trap) into hybrid systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction codes
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and control systems
- Strong background in quantum cryptography and quantum machine learning
- Track record of securing $10M+ in quantum research grants
