Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with quantum processor constraints
- Develop quantum-resistant security protocols for blockchain and financial systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum research into production-ready solutions
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing open-source initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical languages (Python/C++)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm, Grover's search, and quantum supremacy concepts
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business-critical applications
