Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms leveraging IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural architectures for 2026-era AI applications
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for next-gen secure communications
- Lead cross-functional research projects with materials science and computational physics teams
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and NeurIPS
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ-era hardware limitations using error mitigation techniques
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum-AI solutions in healthcare and finance
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Cloud, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business applications
