Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Lead experimental validation of quantum AI models on superconducting qubit systems
- Collaborate with cryptography teams to develop quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
- Secure $2M+ in research grants for 2026 quantum AI initiatives
- Partner with industry leaders to prototype commercial quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Expertise in machine learning architectures and quantum neural networks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal or corporate research funding
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
