Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead development of quantum machine learning models achieving 1000x speed improvements
- Create fault-tolerant quantum computing protocols for real-time data processing
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum AI deployment across healthcare, logistics, and finance
- Secure $50M+ in research grants by publishing breakthrough findings in Nature/Science
- Mentor quantum engineers and PhD candidates in cutting-edge algorithms
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals on quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of building production-level quantum systems with error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy challenges and fault-tolerance techniques
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, DOE)
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
