Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately
- Assist patients with daily activities including hygiene and mobility
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Respond to patient emergencies and alert medical staff promptly
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient care environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff on patient care plans
- Operate medical equipment (EKG monitors, IV pumps, etc.)
- Complete thorough shift handover documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (7PM-7AM)
- CPR certification (provided during training)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (if required for transport)
- Pass background check and drug screening
