Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and respond to patient needs
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and medical equipment
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and infection control standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
- Pass background check and drug screening
- No prior experience necessary – comprehensive training provided
