Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, ECG, and phlebotomy under supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EMR) systems and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and billing
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior medical experience necessary – training provided
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EMR systems
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CPR certification required (will be provided during training)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
