Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Perform vital sign measurements and EKG tests
- Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn EHR systems
- Compassionate demeanor with patient-focused mindset
- Ohio Medical Assistant certification preferred (will assist with obtaining)
