We're seeking motivated individuals passionate about patient care to join our growing network of clinics across San Diego. Our training program covers medical terminology, clinical procedures, electronic health records, and patient interaction skills. Upon graduation, you'll earn a nationally recognized certification and guaranteed placement at one of our partner facilities.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assistant curriculum including clinical and administrative modules
- Participate in supervised clinical rotations in outpatient settings
- Master patient intake procedures, vital signs measurement, and basic lab testing
- Learn electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation
- Develop proficiency in patient communication and education techniques
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and clinic safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior medical experience necessary – we provide all training
- Strong desire to pursue a career in healthcare
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during clinical rotations
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EHR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Must pass background check and drug screening
