Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assistant certification training program
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy under supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Support clinic administrative tasks including scheduling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- Strong desire to pursue healthcare career
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn EHR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to rotating Philadelphia locations
- CPR certification (provided during training)
