Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assistant training program covering clinical procedures, patient care, and administrative tasks
- Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures under supervision
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic laboratory tests
- Manage patient records, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and clinic safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong desire to work in healthcare (no prior experience necessary)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
